Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Physician Assistant for the MG Orthopedics - North team. The role provides coverage with evaluation, treatment, and documentation for orthopedic patients in operating and office settings, with on-site schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm.

The PA-C must hold licensure, CDS/DEA, and BLS, and will support physicians during office hours, preop and postop instructions, and patient communications across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County locations.

Qualifications

• PA-C licensure required
• CDS and DEA credentials required
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Reviews charts preoperatively and documents pertinent information.
• Provides coverage with residents, fellows, and other practitioners on-call schedules.
• Liaises between physicians and outside consultants for patient care.
• Performs assessments and reassessments per department standards.
• Assists physicians during rounds and postoperative care; supports documentation and patient communication.
