Job summary

Job Overview

• The Physician Assistant is responsible for performing duties independently following established and standardized procedures and methods.
• The Physician Assistant provides care through assessment, diagnosis, clinical judgment, and management to restore, maintain, and improve the health status of patients.
• Participates in the clinical management of orthopedic patients, supporting both surgical and nonsurgical care, while actively engaging with residents and attending physicians in a collaborative learning environment.
• Responsible for hospital-based care including inpatient rounding, emergency room consultations, pre- and post‑op management, wound care e.g., dressings, wound vacs, discharges, and occasional surgical assistance.
• Manages care for patients across orthopaedic subspecialties, including total joint replacements hip, knee, shoulder, trauma Level 2, hand, pediatric, and spine cases.
