Job summary

OrthoVirginia in Farmville, VA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, and collaborate with physicians and therapy staff to restore function and enhance recovery.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapy license and CPR certification.
• Orthopedic experience preferred, but all levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations to understand patients’ physical conditions and needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans with achievable goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and post-surgical protocols.
• Educate patients on their recovery process to set realistic expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy assistants, and technicians for seamless care.
• Document progress and maintain accurate patient records.
