Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is the state's leading orthopaedic surgery group, dedicated to diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions to help patients live their best lives. Our therapy team supports joint care, rehab after surgery, and athletic recovery in a collaborative environment.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist licensed in Tennessee to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, document care in our EHR/EMR, and discharge patients as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current (or pending) licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Master/Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR Certification.
• Enjoys being part of a team that works collaboratively to achieve goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients including subjective and objective information, assessment, prognosis, and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and supervise technicians to improve mobility, strength, and return to activities.
• Maintain documentation for therapy treatment in TOA’s EHR/EMR systems.
• Communicate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and families.
• Discharge patients when appropriate.
• Demonstrate positive engagement in delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Adhere to Federal and State regulations and guidelines.
• Seek input from colleagues as needed.
