Job summary

Genesis Ortho in Chicago seeks a motivated Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based orthopedic care to a diverse patient population and support recovery across ages from teens to older adults.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, use Graston, Dry Needling, MDT, Mulligan techniques, and document progress in Epic Hyperspace, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supervising a 1:1 PT to PTA ratio.

Qualifications

• Valid IL Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• DPT degree preferred.
• Board certification in Orthopedics or Sports Medicine preferred.
• Experience with athletes or post-surgical patients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations including goniometry and functional assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Educate patients on conditions, goals, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document treatment progress in Epic Hyperspace and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise a 1:1 PT to PTA ratio and support continuity of care.
• Pursue continuing education and advanced PT techniques.
