Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments that evaluate both physical conditions and functional capacities to establish effective treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapy programs that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and equipment-specific modalities.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment modalities as required, and documenting changes in patient condition in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance recovery and promote long-term health.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in physical therapy to ensure the highest level of patient care is maintained.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging environment that supports both patients and staff, including participation in team meetings and peer discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation due to surgery, injury, or chronic conditions that affect movement and function. Understanding the complex nature of each patient's journey, you will provide empathetic support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation. This role allows you to deliver vital interventions that significantly enhance the quality of patients' lives and support them in reaching their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong clinical skills with the capacity to perform and evaluate a wide range of therapeutic techniques effectively.

Preferred Experience
