Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patient needs, functional capabilities, and limitations. Develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient goals.
• Execute evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and other therapists to create comprehensive care strategies that ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice predominantly serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. We focus on delivering care that addresses both immediate rehabilitation needs and long-term wellness, fostering an enduring partnership with our patients on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required for all applicants.
• An active Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong clinical expertise with a minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, particularly within outpatient or orthopedic settings.
• Current BLS/CPR certification for healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is mandatory, additional experience in managing both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic patients is preferred.
