Job summary

MUSC Health West Ashley Ambulatory Surgery Facility is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist II to join the OR team, preparing sterile supplies and supporting room duties for outpatient orthopedic, total joints, sports medicine, and spine cases.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am–5pm with 4–10 hour shifts. No weekends or major holidays; late shift may be required to finish cases. Join a Magnet-designated, Joint Commission–accredited center with a strong commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program and a minimum of two years’ work experience within an operating room setting required.
• Credentialed as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures and perform room duties with patient care.
• Follow procedural guidelines and assist the OR team to ensure safe and efficient cases.
