Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) West Campus OR is seeking Certified Surgical Technologists to join the ambulatory surgery facility. The role focuses on orthopedic/total joints/sports medicine/spine cases, with outpatient procedures from 7am–5pm and no weekends or holidays.

The CST I/II positions require graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, CST certification, and BLS; two years OR experience is noted.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or surgical technology military program and a minimum of two years’ work experience within an operating room setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required and must be maintained. BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures.
• Perform appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care.
• Adhere to established procedural guidelines and support patient safety.
