Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in an orthopedic surgical setting. The RN will supervise patient care in a single operating room and support a collaborative operating team.

Requirements include a BSN degree and Illinois RN license, with BLS/ALS credentials required and PALS preferred. Prior ambulatory surgery center experience is a plus, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Valid State of Illinois Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS and ALS certifications are required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for efficient case management.
• Prepare the operating room according to patient and procedure requirements.
• Maintain asepsis and safety; ensure correct prepping and draping; conduct time-out before incision.
