Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-focused care in a single operating room. The RN will oversee perioperative processes, support anesthesia, and promote a safe, efficient surgical environment. BSN is required with IL licensure and BLS/ALS; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active IL RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for efficient case management.
• Maintain asepsis and sterile technique; ensure supplies are current.
• Prepare the operating room according to patient and procedure requirements.
• Implement and monitor the plan of care; ensure safe patient environment.
• Document appropriately and promote clear communication within the team.
• Attend required safety trainings and follow exposure control plans.
