Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking an OR–based Registered Nurse with orthopedic surgery experience to support a single operating room. You will ensure high standards of care, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid Illinois RN license, a BSN, BLS/ALS, and typically at least two years in orthopedic surgery. Ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Illinois RN license required.
• BLS and ALS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Minimum two years orthopedic surgery experience.
• Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs to provide quality care for assigned patients.
• Organize time, equipment, supplies and personnel for efficient case management.
• Prepare the operating room according to patient and procedure requirements.
• Maintain asepsis and sterile fields; ensure supplies are not expired.
• Assist anesthesia and support patient safety during procedures.
