The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an experienced Ambulatory RN for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Overland Park, KS. This full-time role supports an ambulatory clinic with nursing assessment, patient education, and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred), current RN license (multi-state a plus), and ambulatory care experience. BLS certification required or obtained within 14 days. The clinic is located at Indian Creek Medical Office Building.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current licensure (multi-state preferred)
• Ambulatory clinic RN experience preferred
• BLS Heartsaver certification or obtain within 14 days

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory setting per nursing process
• Perform preliminary patient assessments for appropriate follow-up
• Evaluate complex patient care scenarios and intervene as needed
• Make clinical decisions with independence and collaboration
• Document patient care and teaching in charts
• Respond to nursing phone calls and coordinate with healthcare team
