Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a candidate to join the Ortho/Neuro unit as a patient care technician. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• RN students may enroll in NGHS PCT Academy if needed.
• Current CNA certification or active NGHS in-house training is required/provided.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reports basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, urine/stool details).
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; assists with mobility and ADLs per protocol.
• Monitors intake/output and documents promptly in patient records.
• Notifies licensed staff of any changes in patient condition promptly.
• Performs routine nursing tasks and supports care teams as directed.

Education
