Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to cover the Nassau County, NY territory within the Orthopaedics portfolio. You will provide clinical and logistical support in operating rooms, accompany surgeons during procedures, and ensure the right instruments and implants are available and functioning.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with 2–4 years of relevant experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with relevant experience
• Minimum of 4 years of professional/relevant experience or recent military transition

Responsibilities

• Independently assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support for orthopedic cases
• Advance DPS sales by representing the company at surgeries and ensuring proper equipment is available and functioning
• Troubleshoot and respond to physician needs; manage hospital billing, purchase orders, and logistics
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic teams to improve solutions and service levels
• Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation
• Maintain and deploy equipment and assets to ensure product availability
• Ensure promotional materials are presented well and comply with quality standards
• Provide logistical support moving instruments, implants, and equipment between reps and hospitals
