Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Florida is seeking a Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant to support physicians by documenting detailed patient information and preparing them for visits. You will help maintain accurate records, retrieve imaging from Medview, and assist with procedures and prescriptions.

The role emphasizes excellent patient service, accurate transcription, and efficient clinic flow to maximize physician-patient time. Full-time position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Diploma or MA certification/license required.
• Prior Medical Scribe experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Obtains all necessary information from patient records for provider during visit.
• Retrieve patient films from Medview for physician review.
• Keep clinic zones stocked with medical supplies and prescriptions.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist during visits.
• Transcribe accurate patient information into medical records during visits.
• Assist physician during visit with injections, suturing, dressing changes, etc.
• Prepare prescriptions and patient education materials.
• Ensure patient understands follow-up care and instructions.
• Breakdown of charts, disposal of PHI, and scanning of forms.
• Restock exam rooms and MA station for next day clinic.
• All other duties as assigned.
