Job summary

Arthrex Austin, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, seeks a dynamic Sales Representative to meet and exceed sales objectives. You will engage surgeons and healthcare professionals, develop strategic territory plans, and communicate product updates and educational programs.

Travel within the territory is required to build relationships, cross-sell products, and maintain vendor credentials while adhering to compliance and ethical standards in the operating room environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
• Must be able to travel within assigned territory.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a surgery/ operating room environment.
• Vendor credentialing for assigned territory must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by representing Arthrex Austin to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
• Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone, and face-to-face).
• Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
• Address any problems that arise at the accounts.
• Support compliance and protect confidentiality in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers for coaching, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain training in sales skills and product features/benefits.
• Collect competitive data and stay current on industry and competitive trends.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings as required.
