Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Code patient office visits and surgical procedures using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Assign modifiers to procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure complete notes and accurate coding.
• Serve as a coding consultant to providers.
• Identify discrepancies and potential quality of care or billing issues.
• Enter coding charges and copays in a timely manner.
