Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.
• 2–3 years clinical experience; orthopedic/surgical setting a plus.
• Proficient in EMR and basic computer applications.
• Bilingual abilities a plus (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in EMR.
• Apply and remove orthopedic devices under supervision.
• Provide pre/postoperative patient education and medication instructions.
• Assist with imaging coordination (X-rays, MRIs) and follow-up.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and clinical areas.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage records.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Support surgical scheduling and pre-operative prep.
