Responsibilities

• Assist health care providers and clerical staff in ambulatory patient care areas.
• Perform vital signs and physical measurements in an age-appropriate manner.
• Perform phlebotomy and ancillary testing as directed.
• Handle clerical duties: greeting patients, scheduling, preauthorizations, chart preparation and completion, and insurance forms.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Document immunizations and allergies accurately; assist with equipment preparation and exams.
• Support infection control measures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient care is documented and delivered.
