Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prep patients for orthopedic examinations and procedures.
• Record patient history, vital signs, and orthopedic information.
• Instruct patients on pre-op and post-op care and medications.
• Assist in orthopedic procedures including bandaging and wound care.
• Facilitate imaging and diagnostic tests; document results.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and manage supplies.
• Schedule appointments, manage charts, and update EMR with patient data.
