IU Health in Indiana is seeking a Medical Assistant II-Orthopedics to support an Orthopedic APP across multiple clinics. You will room patients, manage intake, prepare injections, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with no weekends or holidays, travel to Methodist Hospital one day per week, and opportunities to learn about multiple providers and orthopedic specialties.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant experience.
• Healthcare or patient-facing experience.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Strong customer service or direct patient interaction experience.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms.
• Complete patient intake and documentation.
• Enter provider orders.
• Prepare injections and assist with procedures.
• Communicate patient information to providers.
• Manage patient phone messages and follow-up calls.
• Prepare for upcoming clinic schedules.
• Process paperwork, forms, and faxes.
• Support efficient clinic flow and patient care.
