Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Certification from CMA, RMA, or EMT must be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification preferred.
• No prior experience required; 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages patient check-in to check-out, escorting patients and communicating wait times.
• Triages and assesses patient injuries during intake and reviews health history in Athena.
• Prepares daily schedules and ensures charts contain necessary information for appointments.
• Performs basic orthopedic procedures per instruction and assists with wound care and injections.
• Orders and inputs imaging orders; coordinates specimen processing and lab orders.
• Provides patient education as requested by the physician and retrieves educational materials.
