OrthoAtlanta, LLC in Johns Creek and Lawrenceville is seeking an Orthopedic Medical Assistant to support exam rooms, EMR intake, and surgical prep. You will gather patient information, assist with procedures, and coordinate tests and clearances in a fast-paced on-site clinic.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, relevant CNA/CMA/Ortho Tech certifications or equivalent experience, and at least 1 year in a medical office, with EMR proficiency (Epic preferred) and strong patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA, CMA, or Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ year of medical office experience preferred; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist with dressing/undressing to ensure comfort and privacy.
• Review patient registration details and complete EMR intake documentation accurately.
• Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries.
• Manage patient callbacks, messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor physician queues.
• Demonstrate proper fitting and use of durable medical equipment (DME) as needed.
