Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center seeks a Medical Assistant to support orthopedic care in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will assist surgeons and clinicians, perform phlebotomy, take vital signs, and maintain patient records across locations including travel to affiliated clinics.

Experience in casting/orthopedics is preferred. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is available to qualified candidates, with scheduling Monday–Friday and travel to partner clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent training required.
• Experience with orthopedics or casting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with clinic and occasional hospital care functions.
• Assist with exams, take vital signs, and perform phlebotomy per protocol.
• Prepare exam rooms, manage scheduling, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Coordinate with insurance for authorizations and referrals when needed.
