Resurgens Orthopaedics in Marietta, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The MA will prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures such as casting and wound care, manage EMR records, and coordinate appointments while providing pre- and post-visit education to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) or completion of an accredited MA program preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.
• Current CPR certification (CPR, BLS).
• Two years orthopedic experience preferred.
• Three years medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Record medical histories and order x-rays per protocol.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Perform dressing changes, vital signs, blood draws, casts/splints, sutures, and lab prep.
• Prepare and process medication prescriptions and orders for tests.
• Document in EMR and manage patient records within 24 hours.
