Qualifications

• Basic nursing education required.
• Current TN or Multi-state Nursing License required.
• Must have current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients between waiting area, triage, and physician areas.
• Answer phones courteously and relay messages.
• Transcribe orders accurately and input them into the computer.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and process purchase orders.
• Assist staff with computer equipment and medical records.
• Phlebotomy duties as required.
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment.
• Pursue continuing education and certifications; complete annual competencies.
