Job summary

The technologist will perform imaging procedures with independence, ensure proper documentation in RIS/ISITE, and maintain patient safety and comfort through clear communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient identification using two identifiers and universal protocol.
• Ability to review physician orders and patient history before imaging.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients with two identifiers and uses universal protocol.
• Administers PO and rectal contrast per orders.
• Ensures exams are coded and tracked in RIS and archived in ISITE.
• Performs radiography procedures per protocol without constant supervision.
• Uses imaging equipment to acquire and document data per protocol.
• Demonstrates effective communication with patients and staff.
