Qualifications

• Previous imaging experience required.
• Casual position with weekday daylight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients using two identifiers and apply universal protocol.
• Review patient history and physician orders; document in the electronic record.
• Administer PO and rectal contrast per orders.
• Code and track exams in RIS and network to ISITE for archiving and interpretation.
• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures per established protocols.
• Operate complex imaging equipment to acquire and document image data.
• Collaborate with patients and coworkers with professionalism and empathy.
• Adjust protocols with independent judgment for diagnostic radiography as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
