You will handle patient registration, schedule optimization, phone inquiries, PM/EHR documentation, insurance verification, copay collection, and HIPAA-compliant record handling, with a focus on accuracy and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience scheduling and registering patients in a clinical setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic knowledge of orthopedic terminology.
• Friendly, reassuring, and approachable with patients.

Responsibilities

• Register patients at check-in, update information, and collect copays.
• Organize and optimize the provider's schedule and monitor patient flow.
• Answer phones, emails, and inquiries; distribute communications as needed.
• Document in PM and EHR systems; verify insurance and collect payments.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and ensure HIPAA compliance.
