Job summary

NJ Sports Spine & Wellness is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to assist therapists in guiding patients through rehab exercises and programs. You will engage with patients to restore strength, mobility, and confidence, assist with transfers, and support setup for sessions using PPTs and balance tests.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in rehab/fitness/healthcare.
• Must be able to lift and assist patients.
• Patient, compassionate, and driven to help others.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Chiropractors in guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and rehab protocols.
• Engage with patients to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in rehab programs.
• Assist with patient transfers, movement, and therapy setups.
• Work with PPTs, including Functional Movement Screening, strength testing, and balance assessments.
• Keep therapy areas clean, organized, and ready for sessions.
• Collaborate with Providers, Athletic Trainers, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the team.

What You'll Do (and Love!)

• Be the Ultimate Support System – Assist Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Chiropractors in guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and rehab protocols.
• Engage with Patients – Help individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence as they progress through their personalized rehab programs.
• Stay Active! – Assist with patient transfers, movement, and therapy setups while keeping sessions running smoothly.
• Get Hands-On Experience – Work with cutting-edge Physical Performance Testing (PPTs), including Functional Movement Screening, strength testing, and balance assessments.
• Create a Positive Environment – Keep therapy areas clean, organized, and ready for action while ensuring a steady flow of patients throughout the day.
• Collaborate with an All-Star Team – Work alongside Providers, Athletic Trainers, and fellow aides to deliver top-tier patient care.
• Make a Difference! – Monitor patient progress, communicate updates, and ensure each individual gets the care they need.
