Job summary

Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Therapy Assistant to join our expanding multidisciplinary team to assist with providing care to our patients. We have four offices: Mount Laurel, Northfield, Marmora and Rio Grande, NJ.

The position includes 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We are a multidisciplinary team delivering drug-free, non-surgical treatments to help patients regain activity and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Exercise, Kinesiology or Health Promotion, preferred but not required.
• Ability to teach and motivate patients.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist patients through prescribed rehabilitation
• Functional Movement Screenings
• Help patients with modalities
• Orthotic fitting
• Patient education
• Patient vitals
• Knowledge of rehabilitation exercises
• Ability to explain rehabilitation exercises to patients
• Floor supervision

Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Exercise Specialist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team of Chiropractic Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners and Exercise Specialists to assist with providing care to our patients. We have four offices: Mount Laurel, Northfield, Marmora and Rio Grande, NJ. We currently have an openings in our Rio Grande, NJ location. The position includes 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
