The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LLC (CAO) is seeking a DME Technician to manage durable medical equipment across a multi-location practice. You will select, order, deliver, and train patients on DME usage, ensuring readiness for procedures and maintaining inventory and relationships with suppliers.

Strong customer service, organizational skills, and English communication are essential for coordinating care and supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Athletic Trainer: current certification and VA license.
• Medical Assistant or Orthopaedic Technologist: current certification.
• Experience fitting braces, boots, and splints.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with braces, ambulatory aids, and devices.
• Ensure DME is ready before surgery by coordinating with pre-surgical patients.
• Train patients in use, removal, and care of DME.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate ordering of DME.
• Communicate with equipment reps to obtain pricing and products.
• Support clinical staff in treatment and equipment needs.
• Keep examination areas stocked and organized.
• Utilize scheduling, EMR, inventory software as needed.
