Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, OR is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Orthopedic Medical Unit. This full-time, day shift role on a 0.90 FTE schedule offers a competitive pay range of $22.35–$33.16 per hour and includes benefits through a collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Oregon CNA certification upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire through a recognized body.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, hydration).
• Help patients move safely, transfer, and participate in mobility activities for recovery.
• Take and record vital signs and patient information.
• Monitor patients and promptly communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Support treatments and care activities as delegated by a Registered Nurse within CNA scope.
• Document patient information in the medical record and ensure accuracy.
• Stock patient rooms and care areas with supplies for patient care.
• Assist with clerical tasks and unit operations as needed.
• Create a positive, compassionate experience for patients and families.
