Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Neurology team in Springfield, Oregon. This full-time role (0.90 FTE) offers day shift responsibilities and opportunities to care for patients recovering from neurological conditions with compassionate, patient-centered care.

You will work closely with nurses and therapists, performing routine care, monitoring vitals, and helping patients regain strength while documenting care accurately in the chart.

Qualifications

• Oregon CNA license required on hire
• BLS certification required on hire (AHA/ARC)
• Knowledge of age-specific care principles and adapting care

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care needs: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meals.
• Assist mobility: transfer, walking, and activity participation.
• Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information.
• Observe condition changes and report concerns to nursing team.
