Job summary

Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania is seeking an Orthopedic Clinical Assistant to join our clinical team. You will welcome patients, assist physicians, document vitals, and manage EMR entries, while supporting smooth patient flow with a focus on quality care.

The role includes a 12pm-8pm shift with a $10/hr differential after 5pm, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative team in a busy orthopedic setting. Prior healthcare exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide an outstanding patient experience.
• Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and imaging.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Prepare patients for provider examinations.
• Enter patient information into the EMR.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient flow.
• Stock exam rooms and clinical supplies.
• Clean and prepare equipment between patient visits.
• Support clinic operations through opening and closing duties.
• Perform other responsibilities that contribute to excellent patient care.

Requirements

**This position will work 12pm-8pm and is eligible for an additional $10/hr shift differential for all hours worked after 5pm.

What You'll Do

As a member of our clinical team, you will:

• Welcome patients and provide an outstanding patient experience
• Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and imaging
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Prepare patients for provider examinations
• Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient flow
• Stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Clean and prepare equipment between patient visits
• Support clinic operations through opening and closing duties
• Perform other responsibilities that contribute to excellent patient care

What You'll Learn

• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, Phlebotomy, Athletic Training, or similar healthcare experience
• Students or graduates pursuing healthcare careers
• CPR certification
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
