Job summary

The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania (OIP) is seeking an Orthopedic Clinical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a fast-paced care environment. You will greet patients, assist with examinations, document vitals, and help maintain a smooth clinic flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Desire to learn and grow in a healthcare career.
• Preferred experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (not required).
• CPR certification and EMR experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide an outstanding patient experience
• Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and imaging
• Obtain and document vital signs
• Prepare patients for provider examinations
• Accurately enter patient information into the EMR
• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient flow
• Stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Clean and prepare equipment between patient visits
• Support clinic operations through opening and closing duties
• Perform other responsibilities that contribute to excellent patient care

What You'll Do

As a member of our clinical team, you will:
