Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Must have good working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Coding.

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Apply and remove all types of casts and splints from newborns to geriatrics under physician instruction.
• Support orthopedic physicians in outpatient clinic casting procedures.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures as needed (would care, aspirations, minor surgery, fracture reductions).
• Work independently and be evaluated by correction of orthopedic problems.
