Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must demonstrate basic personal computer skills.
• One year of clerical/billing experience in a medical office setting; medical records experience preferred; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient and correct use of medical practice software to maintain patient data integrity.
• Participate in department clinical outcome projects and care management process improvements.
• Coordinate patient care needs to facilitate the plan of care.
• Support care partners and team morale to reach mutual goals.
• Assist physicians with meetings, depositions and lectures as needed.
• Coordinate assessment and patient care for desired outcomes.
• Verify appointments, insurances, and office authorizations; mail letters to patients.
• Assist physicians and other disciplines involved in patient care.
• Communicate changes to the medical plan of care with physicians to avoid delays.
• Demonstrate I.C.A.R.E. behaviors to improve patient experience.
