Summit Orthopedics is hiring an Athletic Trainer to provide clinical support, work with physicians, and travel to Summit locations and outreach events. The role includes rooming patients, taking histories, wound assessment, and patient education.

A strong team environment and flexible float schedule across clinics are emphasized. Required licenses include ATC and state licensure; education requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, with BLS current.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer and Athletic Trainer certification required.
• Masters degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take histories, and perform initial and secondary assessments.
• Document patient information in medical records and complete forms for patients/insurers.
• Assess post-operative wounds and provide wound-care instructions.
