Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is hiring an Athletic Trainer to support orthopedic care across multiple clinics. You will screen and assess patients, document care, and educate patients while coordinating with physicians and staff.

This full-time float position requires flexibility to cover locations in MN and may involve travel to outreach events. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated) and a comprehensive rewards package with health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Masters of Athletic Training preferred; Bachelors required.
• Cert Athletic Trainer and Licensed Athletic Trainer are required.
• 1 year of experience; newly graduated applicants considered.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, collect health histories, and perform assessments.
• Document care in the medical record and complete forms for patients/insurers.
• Assess postoperative wounds and provide wound-care instruction.
• Educate patients verbally or in writing and liaise with physicians.
• Travel to Summit locations and cover outreach events as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms.
