Job summary

• Bachelor's degree required; experience may substitute education.
• Preferred: Certified athletic trainer (ATC) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in athletic training or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced evaluation and treatment within orthopedic/athletic training scope.
• Assist in education of care plans, home exercise programs, and pre/post-operative instructions.
• Document care provided and ensure compliance with chart audits.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in meetings to improve patient care.
• Assist in fitting and designation of DME, and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Provide patient education addressing age-specific and cultural needs.
