Job summary

OrthoCarolina in Matthews, North Carolina, is seeking a skilled ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center team. This 40-hour-per-week position operates 5:00am–7:30pm, with ambulatory experience preferred and PACU experience required.

The RN will coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients and support cross-training across ASC operations. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold NC RN licensure, with BLS,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
• At least two years’ experience in ambulatory settings; PACU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients.
• Function as a team member in an ASC environment and assist with day-to-day operations.
• Deliver excellent service to physicians and patients and participate in high-performing teams.
