Job summary

Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Ambulatory experience and PACU experience are preferred. 10 hours per week, typically within the 5:00am–7:30pm window.

The RN will coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients and support day-to-day ASC operations, including turnover and other perioperative tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (College or University).
• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
• At least two years’ ambulatory experience; PACU experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients.
• Assist with turnover and day-to-day ASC operations.
• Provide quality, teamwork and patient-centered perioperative care.

**We are currently searching for a PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location.**

10 hoursa week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experienceis preferred. PACU experience isrequired.

Essential Functions:

• The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.

• Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

• Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients andparticipatingin high-performing teams

• Theability tofunction as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited toassistingwith turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations

Qualifications:

• Graduateofan accredited school of Nursing,Collegeor University.
