Job summary

OrthoCarolina is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgery Center team at Matthews and University locations. This full-time/part-time/PRN role focuses on orthopedic peri-operative care and coordinating pre-admission assessments for ASC patients, in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Ideal candidates will have ambulatory experience, PACU familiarity, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
• Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
• At least two years of ambulatory experience is required; PACU experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
• Function as a team member in ASC operations, including turnover and day-to-day ASC tasks.

**We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Surgery Center locations (Matthews, and University area available).**

We offer full time, part time and PRN opportunities

Our shifts run within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experienceis preferred. PACU experience is preferred.

Essential Functions:

• The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.

• Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients andparticipatingin high-performing teams

• The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations
