Job summary

OrthoCarolina in Charlotte's Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center is hiring an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) for a 40-hour workweek, generally 5:00 am–7:30 pm. Ambulatory care and PACU experience preferred and required for PACU.

We are currently searching for an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location. 40 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experience is preferred. PACU experience is required. The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Essential Functions: The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations. Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Skills and Abilities: Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University. Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse. At least two years’ experience in either ambulatory experience required. PACU experience required. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
