Job summary

EmergeOrtho in Dunn, North Carolina, is seeking an Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our multidisciplinary team. The role is full-time, clinic-based with some travel between offices and urgent care coverage.

You will work to the full extent of your licensure under supervising physicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Ideal candidates have PA/NP training, NC licensure, and at least two years of experience as a PA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Medical training from an approved program.
• At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Good knowledge of medical office software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and medical practice software.
• Familiarity with EMR programs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation with history and physical exams.
• Order labs, imaging and studies.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and vaccines.
• Perform therapeutic procedures and injections.
• Assist the surgeon in the OR as designated.
• Interpret imaging studies and labs.
• Initiate life-saving measures as needed.
• Diagnose and treat minor employee illnesses.
