Job summary

Emory Orthopedics is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver daytime and after-hours care in a walk-in clinic setting in Atlanta, GA.

The role offers a 3, 12-hour shift pattern from Monday to Friday (8am–8pm) with a rotating weekend requirement. Ideal candidates bring orthopedic or emergency medicine experience and will participate in ongoing mentorship and professional development.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Licensed as an advanced practice nurse in GA or as a PA in GA.
• May require at least one year of direct experience in high acuity areas.
• PALS, BLS, or ACLS may be required in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Documents the delivery of care in the patient's medical records.
• Performs physical examinations and procedures under physician supervision (cast application, wound care).
• Orders and schedules laboratory tests and imaging as needed.
• Educates patients on health habits and follow-up care.
