Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an RN to provide professional nursing care on the 8 Med/Surg unit. The role emphasizes assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care, with oversight of LPNs/CNAs and collaboration with the health team.

Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, ensuring documentation accuracy, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards while fostering a supportive learning environment for staff and new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical conferences.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure adherence to guidelines and documentation.
