Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates must be strong clinicians in orthopedic acute care PT.
• Knowledge of adult orthopedic surgeries and post-operative guidelines.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• New York State licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and determine the appropriate treatment plan.
• Set rehabilitation goals with patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation approaches.
• Treat a wide variety of operative diagnoses across acute, pre- and post-operative care.
• Participate in pre-operative, post-operative and post-acute PT programs.
